How do you develop a personal relationship with the Lord?
Follow the Romans Road......

Acknowledge sin in your life.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23 KJV)

Know that there is hope.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8 KJV)

Choose eternal life.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23 KJV)

Confess and believe.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 KJV)

Pray.

Lord, I recognize that I am a sinner. You sent Your Son to die for me even while I was in sin. I confess my sins to You right now and I ask for Your forgiveness. I pray that you lead me in the way that I should go from this moment forward. Amen.
